Why I Created This Program.
Hi! I'm Michelle Chalfant.
I spent years watching people suffer unnecessarily. Brilliant, big-hearted people sitting across from me in session, doing the work, trying everything, and still feeling stuck. Not because they weren't trying hard enough. Because the tools they were given only scratched the surface.
That's when I knew something had to change.
I developed The Adult Chair® after more than 20 years of working with people, as a licensed therapist, a coach, and a student of my own healing. Not as a theory. As a living, breathing model that cuts straight to the root of why we suffer, and gives people a clear, grounded path back to themselves.
The results were unlike anything I had seen in decades of practice.
People were breaking through in a single session what years of therapy hadn't touched.
Over 500 podcast episodes and 11 million downloads later, I can tell you with complete certainty: this method works. My book, The Adult Chair - Get Unstuck, Claim your Power and Transform your Life, published with Penguin Random House, is bringing this model to the world at a scale I once only dreamed of. And after 30 years of sitting with people in their deepest pain and watching them rise, I have never seen anything cut to the root the way this model does.
The world doesn't just need this model. The world needs an army of light warriors trained to use it.
